aFe 54-13023D Magnum FORCE Stage-2 open-element intake uses one Pro DRY S filter with an XLPE tube and XLPE housing for the specified 5.7L HEMI V8 Grand Cherokee WK2 and Dodge Durango. The housing uses the factory inlet and an optional auxiliary opening; it is not a sealed Momentum airbox.

Dry-media marked differences near 4,999 rpm are 16.80 HP and 17.68 lb-ft; peak-to-peak differences are 11.67 HP and 13.81 lb-ft. Test-point gains and peak-to-peak gains are different measurements, and no individual vehicle result is guaranteed.

Removing the plug admits additional air that may include warmer engine-bay air. It closes only the auxiliary opening, not the whole open housing. Installation Instructions

Verify aFe 54-13023D. Read the complete manual on a cool engine, disconnect the negative battery terminal and retain original parts. Remove the engine cover using the illustrated pull-up removal. Disconnect the original intake-temperature sensor harness, release its retainers where shown, disconnect the crankcase line and loosen the throttle-body clamp. Release any rear airbox hose retainer if equipped. Lift the factory scoop trim seal and side clips as directed to clear the original airbox, then remove the stock tube and housing. Transfer ALL THREE factory rubber housing grommets to the new housing, seat the selected filter, install the supplied 34-inch trim seal and optional auxiliary plug, then align and seat the new housing. Fit the supplied sensor grommet and adapter and transfer the original temperature sensor, turning clockwise until it locks. Keep the original crankcase hose for reconnection to the new tube. Install the specified coupling at the throttle body and tighten only that end first. Insert the tube into the FILTER FIRST, then rotate its other end down into the coupling; align and secure all clamps. Reconnect the sensor harness and correct crankcase hose.
