aFe 54-76207 Momentum GT intake pairs a sealed sight-window housing with two roto-molded tube sections for the specified early Jeep and Dodge 3.6L V6 layout. The Pro 5R version uses one five-layer oiled cotton-gauze filter; it is not the later single-tube V6 kit.
Specified 2011–2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 and Dodge Durango with the 3.6L V6 only. The current manufacturer page excludes models equipped with the SRT hood; no Dodge hood exception is stated for this earlier kit. Named trims below require the actual V6 and compatible factory connections. This is not a V8, diesel, later WK2 engine revision or Grand Cherokee WL conversion.

One filter in the selected media is supplied, not both alternatives shown in the shared manual. The exact manual lists two silicone straight couplings and five clamps; the product-page urethane hump-coupling description differs. Confirm the boxed revision before sourcing replacement couplings. The 14-inch supplied hose is labeled fuel hose in the parts list but is used as a crankcase vent extension in the procedure, not as a fuel-system upgrade. The original mounting grommets, pump nuts and temperature sensor are reused.
aFe Power develops application-specific intake, filtration, exhaust, cooling, tuning, suspension, drivetrain, and truck-performance components supported by product testing and documented installation requirements.
The specified early Grand Cherokee WK2 and Durango 3.6L V6 layout is required. The current page and exact illustrated manual cover 2011–2015; the named trim alone does not establish engine or hood compatibility.
Does this fit an SRT-style hood? The current exact manufacturer page excludes models equipped with the SRT hood. A Dodge exception stated for some later kits is not stated for this earlier kit.
Does the kit contain one filter or two?One Pro 5R filter is supplied. The shared manual depicts dry and oiled alternatives, not a dual-filter system. Use the appropriate cleaner and oil when servicing the cotton filter.
Are the intake tubes aluminum? The intake has two roto-molded tube sections. The support bracket and temperature-sensor fitting are aluminum; a retailer's aluminum-system heading does not make the tubes aluminum.
Does installation require modifying the vent tube?Yes. The manual cuts the OE vent tube about four inches from the end, trims the supplied hose to twelve inches and uses it as the vent extension. Save the removed pieces for a possible return to stock.
What hardware and sensors are retained?Reuse the original temperature sensor, three airbox grommets, support mounting grommet and vacuum-pump nuts. The new bracket, three spacing washers, sensor fitting and grommet are listed in the exact manual.
Are the advertised gains the same as peak-to-peak gains? No. The linked chart identifies the oiled kit on a 3.6L Grand Cherokee with OE exhaust and headers, hood closed, blower fan, no load, second gear and 2WD. Its maximum point differences exceed the differences between each run's peak readings; the dry-page link shows that same oiled test.
Is a torque or mileage recheck number supplied? No numeric clamp or bracket torque and no mileage-based recheck interval appear in the exact manual. Follow its illustrated assembly checks and the applicable boxed instructions; do not substitute numbers from a different kit.
Verify aFe 54-76207. Read the entire illustrated manual and check the boxed parts before starting. Work on a cool engine, disconnect the negative battery terminal and retain factory parts. Remove the engine cover and trim seal/clips, unplug the temperature sensor and release it counterclockwise by 90 degrees. Release the vent connection and power-steering hose clip, remove the stock intake and transfer its three housing grommets. Prepare and seat the filter/housing as instructed; reposition the cable below the factory mounting pin. Fit the aluminum support bracket beneath the vacuum-pump mounting nuts, with the three supplied washers spacing the left side and the transferred support grommet at the bracket end. Assemble both tubes and install the original temperature sensor clockwise into the new aluminum fitting and grommet. Install the short tube at the throttle body, then the larger filter-side tube; align without gaps and secure all clamps and the bracket nut. For the documented vent connection, cut the OE vent tube approximately four inches from its end, trim the supplied hose to twelve inches and join it to the intake tube. Preserve the removed pieces for return to stock. Optional heat-gun reshaping requires even heat and avoiding a kink; do not improvise this step. Reconnect the sensor harness, verify all connections and restore trim, clips and engine cover. The manual gives no numeric clamp or bracket torque and no mileage-based recheck interval; do not borrow values from another kit.
Fitment requires the actual 3.6L V6 configuration and suitable hood clearance. The manufacturer lists EO D-550-27; the official indexed exhibit names these two kit numbers for 2011–2015 Grand Cherokee 3.6L and 2011–2016 Durango 3.6L. The current product page and exact manual stop at 2015, so the broader emissions-table year is not used to extend physical fitment. Verify the applicable vehicle and EO identification label before emissions inspection. The indexed exhibit was checked; a complete current signed document and independent revocation status were not established. Manufacturer headline gains and flow percentages are test claims, not guaranteed results. The linked dyno identifies the oiled kit, not a separate dry-media test. SRT/SRT8 and other-engine suggestions appearing in older retailer summaries do not override the exact V6 and hood restrictions.
