Retain both factory inlet clamps, original front scoop and two T20 screws, one lower airbox grommet and the original CCV connection. What torque and follow-up checks apply?Secure all three clamp joints without overtightening and retighten connections after approximately 100-200 miles. No numeric torque is stated in the exact manual.
Verify aFe 51-76306. Read all sixteen pages and figures A-K. Work on a cool engine and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Release the CCV fitting by squeezing its sides and lifting straight up; hold the line aside without kinking it. Remove the original scoop with its two T20 screws and retain them. Loosen both original inlet clamps, including the rear clamp beneath the cowl, and release the three rear wire harnesses. Lift the airbox from its three mounts and transfer one lower grommet. Lock the selected filter into the new housing and fit its stainless T-bolt clamp loosely. Install the original grommet in the lower housing hole. Engage both rear housing clips over the original manifold mounting posts, then snap the front mount into place. Insert both tube ends into the original inlets first, then rotate the tube into the filter. Secure all three clamp joints without overtightening. Restore the front scoop and its two screws, reconnect the CCV fitting and choose whether to install the auxiliary-opening plug. Verify safe harness routing and secure connections. Retighten connections after approximately 100-200 miles. The exact manual provides no numeric torque.
The exact current dry manufacturer page, all sixteen manual pages, full bill, assembly diagram, figures A-K and actual dyno were inspected. No airflow chart is linked, so the 18-percent claim lacks a matching selected dry test basis here. Although linked from the dry page, the dyno notes identify oiled 54-76306 Momentum V2, not a separate dry-filter certification.
