Installation Instructions
- Verify your BMW chassis (G87, G80 or G82) matches the fitment list above before beginning.
- Order and receive the required fitting kit WI-BM/CA/1/FK separately if not already on hand.
- Clean the trunk lid mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry.
- Locate the OEM mounting points on the trunk lid following the Akrapovic fitting kit instructions.
- Attach the fitting kit brackets to the trunk lid mounting points using the provided hardware.
- Align the WI-BM/CA/1/G carbon wing onto the installed brackets and confirm even gap spacing side to side.
- Torque all fasteners to the specification listed in the fitting kit instructions.
- Inspect alignment, clear coat condition and all hardware for tightness before returning the vehicle to service.
