Frequently Asked Questions
Will ALTA AMP-INT-110 fit my 02-12 Mini Cooper (JCW Models Only)?
Match the exact model year, MINI generation, engine, transmission, trim, and every application note shown in the fitment section. Contact Black Ops Auto Works before ordering if any of those details differ.
Does this intake or filter require tuning?
Tuning requirements depend on the exact intake configuration and vehicle calibration. Follow ALTA's current instructions and do not assume every filter, tube, or complete intake has the same requirement.
What should I inspect during installation?
Check every clamp, coupler, filter seal, sensor connection, heat shield, and surrounding clearance. Verify that no hose or wiring is stretched, pinched, or able to contact a hot or moving component.
Installation Instructions

- Follow ALTA's current part-specific procedure for removal, orientation, adjustment, routing, sealing, fastener sequence, and torque values.
- Before final assembly, inspect all disturbed hardware and connections and verify clearance from heat, steering, suspension, belts, fans, wiring, and bodywork as applicable.
- Perform the required leak, alignment, belt-tracking, intake-seal, or function checks for this product family before normal driving.
