Installation Overview
- Open the factory trunk and support the vehicle on a level surface
- Disconnect any OEM trunk damper or strut if present
- With a partner, support the factory decklid and unbolt it from the hinges
- Transfer latch, striker, and spoiler hardware from the OEM lid to the AC-TL0309DGVIPR-OE
- With a partner, bolt the new decklid to the hinges without final tightening
- Adjust hinge position for even gap on both sides and correct height flush with the body
- Tighten all hinge bolts to factory torque specification
- Test the latch, release, and spoiler function before returning the vehicle to service
