It functions as an additional brace layer that works alongside Per4mance Development's other differential reinforcement systems, contacting the differential housing and reducing the movement that leads to pinion misalignment, wheel hop, and secondary damage from driveshaft failure events. This brace is waterjet cut and CNC machined, covered in satin black powdercoat, and updated in its current revision with a redesigned neoprene pad and automotive-grade chemical-resistant shrink tubing around the pad area for improved durability and heat tolerance. It is US-made, US-patented, and includes all hardware required for installation.
Exhaust Compatibility Warning
The BRB-PD will not fit with Borla exhaust systems or aFe exhaust systems due to physical clearance conflicts near the differential mounting area. It also will not fit with aftermarket exhaust valve bypass devices that are physically mounted in the differential region. If your vehicle has any of these installed, choose the Per4mance Development DIRS or Standard Billet Brace instead, which are designed for compatibility with those setups.

Installation Instructions
- Safely lift and support the vehicle on jack stands or ramps. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a floor jack.
- Allow the exhaust system to cool completely before beginning work in the differential area.
- Locate the differential housing on the underside of the rear of the vehicle.
- If the vehicle is equipped with a passenger-side active exhaust motor, removal of that component may be required to access the upper mounting bolt positions. Refer to the included instructions for model-specific guidance.
- Clean the differential housing contact area with a clean cloth to remove dirt, grease, or undercoating that could prevent the neoprene pad from seating correctly.
- Apply the included heat-resistant tape to the designated pad area on the brace.
- Position the brace against the differential housing with the neoprene pad making full contact with the housing surface.
- Thread the included Grade 10.9 fasteners by hand to confirm alignment, then apply Loctite to all fastener threads.
- Torque the two lower 16mm bolts to 90 ft-lbs. Tighten the upper fasteners until the neoprene pad compression is even across the full contact surface.
- Reinstall the active exhaust motor if removed in step 4.
- Lower the vehicle and test drive to confirm no noise, contact, or vibration from the installed brace.
