The Corsa COR21009 Sport Axle-Back Exhaust is a 2.5-inch mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel axle-back system for the 2005-2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6 equipped with the 6.0L or 6.2L LS V8. Corsa's patented RSC (Reflective Sound Cancellation) technology eliminates the drone that makes factory exhaust sound flat at cruise, while unlocking a cleaner and more defined Sport exhaust note on acceleration. The COR21009 exits through twin 4.5-inch polished stainless tips and bolts directly to the factory axle-back flanges.

What LS engines does the COR21009 fit?The COR21009 is compatible with both the LS2 (6.0L, 2005-2007) and LS3 (6.2L, 2008) Corvette C6 engines. It does not fit the Z06 7.0L LS7.
Does the COR21009 eliminate drone?Yes. Corsa's RSC technology cancels standing wave resonance at cruise RPM, making the COR21009 quiet on the highway while sounding significantly better at acceleration.
Will the COR21009 fit the Z06?No. The C6 Z06 uses a different exhaust layout. See Corsa's COR21077 for Z06 and ZR1 applications.
Is the COR21009 a direct bolt-on?Yes. The COR21009 bolts directly to the factory C6 axle-back flanges with no cutting or welding required.
How does the Sport sound level compare to Xtreme on the C6?The Sport level provides a cleaner, more refined LS sound compared to factory. The Xtreme (COR21010) is louder and more aggressive. Both use RSC to eliminate drone.
Does the COR21009 need a tune?No. The COR21009 is an axle-back system that does not affect engine management or emissions systems.
What warranty is included?Corsa Performance provides a limited lifetime warranty on all exhaust systems including the COR21009.
Installation Instructions
- Allow the Corvette to cool completely before beginning
- Safely raise and support the vehicle on jack stands or a lift
- Unbolt the factory axle-back mufflers from the flanges and remove from rubber hangers
- Install the COR21009 system onto the factory flanges and seat the rubber hangers
- Torque all hardware and align the twin polished tips
- Lower the vehicle and start the engine to verify fitment and check for leaks
