The Corsa 44003D Carbon Fiber Closed Box Air Intake with DryTech 3D Dual Filter is engineered for the 2020-2024 Chevrolet Corvette C8 6.2L LT2 V8. Because the C8 places its mid-mounted engine in the rear, the COR44003D uses a unique dual-inlet design with two DryTech 3D synthetic dry filters fed by two carbon fiber air inlet ducts that pull from each side. Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting
- Remove the roof panel sections and the 19 rear panel bolts to expose the engine and intake area
- Remove the four bolts from each factory air inlet duct and remove both ducts
- Disconnect the MAF sensor wiring harness and remove the factory air box mounting bolts
- Disconnect the wiring harness clips from the factory air box and remove the rubber intake hose from the throttle body
- Pull the factory air box through the trunk area and remove the antenna, heat shields, and wiring clips for reuse
- Remove the two MAF sensor screws and transfer the MAF sensor to the Corsa air duct
- Install the factory heat shields onto the Corsa air box using the supplied M6 bolts and washers
- Install the factory oblong wiring clips and the antenna into the Corsa air box
- Install the silicon sleeve and the assembled air duct through the Corsa air box
- Install both carbon fiber air inlets to the vehicle using factory hardware
- Connect the hump hoses from the air inlets to each side of the air duct
- Install both DryTech 3D filters onto the air duct ends and torque all clamps
- Reconnect the MAF sensor wiring harness, the throttle body hose, and all wiring clips
- Reinstall the rear panel and roof sections, then reconnect the battery and verify no CEL codes
