- Remove the complete two-piece disc from the hub and set it on a clean bench, hat face down.
- Unbolt the twelve ring fasteners and separate the worn ring from the centre hat, keeping the hat and any float hardware in order.
- Inspect the hat's mating register for wear or distortion before reusing it, and clean it thoroughly.
- Fit the new ring to the hat and install the twelve fasteners evenly in a criss-cross sequence. DBA does not publish a torque figure for this interface, so use the value specified by the hat or vehicle manufacturer and do not guess.
- Refit the assembly to the hub, refit the caliper to the vehicle manufacturer's specification, and repeat on the other side.
