Keep Your Remote Reservoir Locked In Place No Matter The Terrain
This reservoir holding clamp secures a 2.0 inch remote reservoir directly to the shock body, eliminating the vibration and flex that loosens weaker mounting hardware on washboard trails and high speed desert runs. Machined from black anodized aluminum and bolted on rather than strapped down, this clamp is built to survive the same punishment as the shock it protects.
Key Features
- CNC machined black anodized aluminum construction resists corrosion and UV fade
- Includes reducer inserts for compatibility with both 2.0 inch and 2.165 inch reservoir bodies
- Bolt on design mounts to the shock body or any 2 inch OD tubing
- Works with performance, factory, and new style reservoir series FOX shocks

About FOX
FOX Racing Shox builds suspension components proven in the toughest off road races in the world, including the Baja 1000 and King of the Hammers. Their reservoir mounting hardware is engineered to the same tolerances as their shock bodies, so every clamp, insert, and bolt is designed to keep pace with the shock it supports.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 803-02-044?The FOX 803-02-044 is a black anodized aluminum reservoir holding clamp that mounts a 2.0 inch remote shock reservoir directly to the shock body. It includes reducer inserts so it also fits 2.165 inch aluminum reservoirs.
Will this clamp fit a 2.165 inch reservoir?Yes. The included reducer inserts allow the same clamp to secure both 2.0 inch steel style reservoirs and 2.165 inch aluminum reservoirs.
Does this clamp work with any brand of shock? It is designed for FOX 2.0 series shocks and reservoirs, but it will mount to any 2 inch OD tubing, so it can be adapted to other reservoir setups with similar dimensions.
How many clamps do I need per shock? One clamp secures one reservoir to one shock body. If your vehicle has a reservoir shock on each corner, order one clamp per shock.
Where should I position the clamp on the reservoir?Clamp onto the bottom edge of the reservoir. Clamping the middle of the reservoir can trap the internal floating piston as the shock heats up and cause damage.
What material is this reservoir clamp made from?It is CNC machined from black anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance and long term durability in off road conditions.
Is this clamp sold as a pair or individually? It is sold individually as a single clamp. Order two if you are mounting reservoirs on both shocks of an axle.
Does this clamp include mounting hardware?Yes, it ships with the bolt on hardware and reducer inserts needed for installation.
Install Instructions
- Position the reservoir against the shock body in its final mounting location
- Select the correct reducer insert size for your reservoir diameter, 2.0 inch or 2.165 inch
- Place the reducer insert inside the clamp halves around the reservoir
- Position the clamp on the bottom edge of the reservoir, not the middle section
- Align the clamp halves around the shock body and reservoir
- Install and tighten the mounting bolts evenly to the manufacturer specified torque
- Check that the reservoir is secure and does not shift under hand pressure

FOX
FOX is one of the most respected suspension brands in the world, producing shocks, coilovers, reservoir shocks, IFP monotube shocks, upper control arms, and steering stabilizers that are trusted by off-road race teams, overlanders, and performance drivers who require more consistency and damping control than factory suspension can deliver. The brand's reputation was built through desert racing programs including the Baja 1000 and King of the Hammers, where FOX products are validated against the most demanding suspension punishment available before reaching the aftermarket, and that race heritage is directly reflected in the technology and build quality of their Performance, Performance Elite, and Factory Race product lines. Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Chevrolet Silverado, and Ford Bronco owners choose FOX suspension upgrades as the single most impactful improvement to both on-road ride quality and off-road capability availabl...

Hardware
Automotive hardware encompasses the fasteners, clips, retainers, and mounting hardware that hold virtually every component on a vehicle in place, from engine bay bolts that endure extreme heat and vibration to interior trim clips that must release cleanly during service without breaking. Quality automotive hardware from brands including ARP, Dorman, and OEM equivalent suppliers provides reliable clamping force and corrosion resistance that cheap hardware does not, reducing the likelihood of seized or stripped fasteners that turn a simple service into a time-consuming repair. For engine and high-stress suspension applications, ARP's heat-treated fasteners provide torque capacity and fatigue resistance that exceed standard hardware grade specifications by a significant margin. For interior, body, and trim applications, OEM-equivalent push pins, clips, and retainers from Dorman provide exact-fit replacements that insert and release correctly without the frustration of incompatible gene...

Individual automotive hardware pieces allow builders, fabricators, and repair technicians to purchase the exact fastener or clip needed for a specific application without purchasing a complete assortment or kit that contains many items that will never be used. From a single M10x1.25 socket head bolt for a caliper bracket to a specific Dorman push pin retainer for a door panel, individual hardware items are the solution for targeted repairs that require an exact match to the factory or application specification. Professional shops stock individual hardware items to avoid the delay of ordering complete kits for single-item needs, and enthusiast builders maintain a selection of critical fasteners for their specific vehicle platform to avoid build interruptions from a single missing bolt or clip. Quality individual hardware from ARP, Dorman, and metric fastener suppliers provides the same reliability as complete kit purchases at the appropriate quantity for each specific need. Popular U...
