Install Instructions

Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning. Remove the engine cover if equipped. Locate the six coil-on-plug coils along the top of the 3.5L EcoBoost or 3.7L V6 engine. Disconnect the electrical connector from each coil by pressing the locking tab and pulling firmly. Remove the single retaining bolt on each coil and pull the coil straight up out of the spark plug well. Install each Granatelli GMS26-0520CP coil by seating it straight down onto the spark plug, threading the retaining bolt, and reconnecting the electrical connector until it clicks. Reconnect the negative battery terminal and start the engine. Clear any stored misfire codes with a scan tool if present.
