Hawk Performance part HB926C.577 places the HPX motorsports compound on that front axle, pairing clean modulation with smooth initial bite in the 100 to 600 degree F range where autocross and club racing events typically operate. HB926C.577 is a direct-fit replacement for the factory Brembo front caliper hardware on the Z51 and carries Hawk Performance's limited lifetime warranty. This compound is not street-rated.

Installation Instructions
- Secure the vehicle on jackstands and remove front wheels.
- Remove the front caliper slide pin bolts and pivot the caliper free of the rotor without hanging it by the brake line.
- Remove the old pads and clean the abutment clips and carrier contact surfaces.
- Press the caliper pistons back using a C-clamp or piston press tool before seating HB926C.577 pads.
- Install the new HPX pads in the carrier, confirm secure seating, reinstall the caliper, and torque slide pins to OEM specification.
- Reinstall wheels and pump the brake pedal until a firm pedal is achieved.
- Bed in HB926C.577 on track before full-load braking: six to ten moderate decelerations from 60 mph to 15 mph followed by cool-down laps, then two to three hard stops.
