Install Instructions
- Raise and support the vehicle, then remove the wheel, brake caliper, and rotor
- Remove the axle shaft, hub assembly, and disconnect the tie rod and drag link from the knuckle
- Separate the knuckle from the end forging and remove the factory ball joints using a press kit
- Clean all rust and debris from the knuckle and end forging bores
- Apply anti-seize to the new ball joint bodies and press the lower ball joint into place first
- Press the upper ball joint into place, orienting the grease fitting toward the front of the vehicle
- Reinstall the knuckle and torque the upper and lower ball joint nuts to specification
- Install cotter pins, grease all fittings, and reassemble the wheel end before checking alignment
