A Ringless Hybrid Twin-Disc Clutch for GM LS and Mustang Modular Swaps
The McLeod RST HD Twin with metric ring is designed to bolt to an existing LS1/LS6 flat-style flywheel or a compatible Mustang 4.6/5.0L flywheel rather than including a dedicated flywheel of its own. It combines full-face organic friction on one disc face with segmented ceramic on the other for a hybrid friction combination rated up to approximately 950 horsepower, using a 1-1/8 in. x 26-spline input shaft.

Installation Instructions
- Support the vehicle and remove the transmission per the vehicle service manual.
- Remove the factory flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc assembly.
- Inspect and resurface or replace the flywheel mounting surface if not using the included flywheel.
- Install the new flywheel (if included) and torque the flywheel bolts to specification using thread locker.
- Install the floater plate, clutch discs, adapter ring, and pressure plate using the supplied alignment tool to center the discs.
- Torque the pressure plate bolts in a star pattern to the specified torque value.
- Reinstall the transmission and bleed the hydraulic clutch system if equipped.
