Bring an Aftermarket Wheel Close to the Toyota and Lexus Column
A quick release adds depth, and a standard hub pushes the wheel even further into the cabin. The NRG SRK-124H short hub uses the shortest practical mounting surface on the factory spline, so a 6x70mm wheel and a lockable NRG quick release still sit at a natural reach. The body is machined from anodized 6061 aluminum, self indexes on the splined shaft, and keeps the horn and turn signal cancellation working in normal use.

Which bolt pattern wheels bolt to this hub?It uses a 6x70mm circle, which covers NRG, MOMO, OMP, and Sparco style wheels. Nardi and Personal wheels use 6x74mm and need a separate adapter.
Does the horn still work after installation?Yes. The hub retains the factory horn contact, and turn signal cancellation continues to function in normal driving.
Do I need a quick release as well?No, a wheel can bolt directly to the hub, though the short body exists so a lockable quick release still leaves a comfortable reach.
What is the body made from?It is machined from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and anodized black.
Why choose a short hub over a standard hub?A standard hub plus a quick release can push the wheel too far toward the driver. The short body recovers that distance.

Installation Instructions
- Disconnect the battery and wait for the airbag system to fully discharge before touching the column.
- Remove the factory steering wheel and airbag assembly following the vehicle service procedure.
- Center the road wheels, then slide the short hub onto the splined shaft so it self indexes.
- Fit the retaining nut and torque it to the vehicle specification.
- Connect the horn lead, then bolt the steering wheel or quick release to the 6x70mm face.
- Reconnect the battery and confirm horn, turn signal cancellation, and full lock to lock travel before driving.
