Brake and suspension arrangements changed across the New Yorker nameplate; use the actual assembly references on a restored or modified car. For an older restoration, note any conversion from original drum brakes, master cylinder or power assistance. Replacement parts should follow the current system rather than an assumed factory configuration. Brake Hydraulics and Caliper Details Wheel cylinders can specify left or right, front or rear, and an upper or lower position within the drum. Dodge 400 Parts and Accessories

Choose Dodge 400 parts with the vehicle’s body and engine clearly identified. The 1980s Dodge 400 car is a different application from a Dodge 400-cubic-inch engine, so separate the vehicle identity from engine-displacement references. Establish the Vehicle Application Record model year, body, engine and transmission before planning service work. Convertible body pieces and weather protection need their own body-specific coverage. When researching an engine component, use the installed engine identification rather than the number in the vehicle’s model name. Keep any replacement engine or drivetrain information alongside the original car details. Brake and Strut Service Planning For brake parts, identify caliper, axle, pad shape and rotor or drum specification. Dodge Power Ram 50 Parts and Accessories

Find Dodge Power Ram 50 parts guidance by exact year, engine, drivetrain and pickup configuration. Document the actual suspension and any conversions before planning a repair or modification. Engine and Drivetrain Identification Record engine identification, fuel-system arrangement and transmission. Service components should follow the installed engine and assemblies, especially where the pickup has received replacements. For four-wheel-drive work, identify transfer case, front and rear axles and the relevant shaft or joint. Keep gear-ratio and replacement-assembly references together rather than treating the pickup name as the complete specification. Suspension, Wheels and Installation Planning Identify the actual front and rear suspension before discussing a lift or replacement components. Dodge Raider Parts and Accessories

Choose Dodge Raider parts for steering-damper service and wheel-fastener installation. Match the actual four-wheel-drive chassis and wheels before comparing stabilizers, locking nuts or link hardware. Steering Stabilizers and Link Hardware A specified KYB front steering-stabilizer application includes 1987–1988 four-wheel-drive Raider coverage. Compare the exact mounting and production requirements before selecting the damper. A stabilizer does not replace steering linkage or sway-bar components. Cupped link washers listed without bushings supply only those washers; compare the rest of the assembly separately. Wheel Nuts and Locking Packages Match wheel-stud thread, seat shape, fastener length and tool clearance to the wheel and hub. Do not transfer a cone-seat application to a wheel requiring a different seat. A four-lock set and a six-lug installation package have different quantities and contents. Confirm the required key or tool and the number of ordinary nuts supplied before as...

Use replacement-engine references if the pickup no longer retains its original powertrain. Similar model names or manufacturer relationships do not establish universal parts interchange. Compare exact manufacturer application, dimensions and connections before selecting engine-service components. Drivetrain and Chassis Service Identify transmission, axle assemblies and four-wheel-drive equipment where fitted. Keep replacement-shaft, joint and gear-ratio details with the maintenance record. Choose Dodge Rampage wheel fasteners, strut-protection pieces and ignition-service components by the equipment fitted. Wheel changes and replacement suspension or engine assemblies need their own references. Wheel Locks and Lug-Installation Packages Compare stud thread, nut seat, length and tool clearance with the actual wheel. A matching thread does not establish the correct seat or engagement for every replacement wheel. A four-lock set and a complete lug package have different contents. Check the number of ordinary nuts and the matching key or spline tool supplied before planning the installation. Strut Protection and Spark Plugs Strut boots and bump stops follow the actual suspension assembly and position. Find Dodge Shadow suspension-service guidance using the strut assemblies and ride height actually fitted. Strut Boots and Bump Stops A boot shields the strut-shaft area, while a bump stop limits compression travel. Check the selected kit’s position, dimensions and supplied pieces before ordering. A protection kit does not restore a leaking or ineffective damper. Assess the strut, mount and spring with the repair technician so the service list addresses the actual wear. Repair Scope After Suspension Changes Keep replacement-strut and spring references if the car has changed from its original suspension. Shop Toyota Pickup cabin, window and brake-service applications by exact year, cab and installed equipment. Check vent-window and T100 exclusions before choosing accessories. Cabin and Window Geometry Two-piece and four-piece deflector sets serve different cab/window arrangements. Confirm whether the vehicle has vent windows and follow the exact mounting instructions. Floor-liner references that exclude T100 should not be extended to that model. Match exact cab, floor contours, transmission layout and supplied coverage. Brake Hydraulic Components Master cylinders require the correct hydraulic ports, configuration and brake-system support. A Land Cruiser reference needs independently verified Pickup coverage. Front-right calipers and shared hardware listings require matching side, rotor and installed assembly. Review supplied contents and separately required components for the repair. Toyota T100 Parts and Accessories

Find Toyota T100 brake and suspension-service applications by exact production and drivetrain. Match 2WD/4WD equipment, brake dimensions and current ride-height setup before ordering. Brake and Suspension Fit A front shock explicitly naming 2WD requires that exact drivetrain application. Confirm mounts, working length and travel rather than extending it to a different suspension. Wheel cylinders, drums, shoes and master cylinders need exact axle/side, dimensions and hydraulic interfaces. Broad title ranges or another Toyota model need manufacturer confirmation. Helper Springs and Service Contents A Tacoma helper-spring title needs exact T100 spring/mount coverage. Helper springs support load levelling but do not increase the vehicle’s factory weight ratings. Review shock-set quantity, supplied hardware and separately required components. Document lifts, replacement axles or spring changes when confirming fit. Choose Your Part Identify production, drivetrain and current ride height....

Corolla FX16, Nova or Prizm pad titles require exact Tercel caliper/axle support. Choose the friction compound for intended use after fit is confirmed. Suspension Components and Repair Contents Shocks need correct mounting ends, working dimensions and axle position. An unrelated multi-vehicle title does not establish Tercel coverage. Find Toyota Van brake and drivetrain-service applications using full model, chassis and production details. Confirm installed components before selecting broad Toyota or other-vehicle references. Brake and Suspension Identification Match actual disc/drum arrangement, caliper or wheel-cylinder dimensions and axle. RAV4 shoes or another model’s rotors do not establish Toyota Van compatibility. Rear shocks require correct mounts, working length and travel. Use current assembly information if the suspension has been modified. Clutch and Wheel Hardware Interfaces A pilot bearing needs the actual engine/crank and transmission input application. Another Toyota title is insufficient without exact dimensional support. Wheel fasteners need matching thread, seat, engagement and current hub/wheel layout. A six-lug kit should not be assumed correct from the Van name alone. Volvo 142 Parts and Accessories

Find Volvo 142 brake and suspension-service applications for the two-door 140-series sedan. Identify production and actual calipers before choosing front or rear friction components. Pad Profile Before Compound Match the installed caliper, pad profile and rotor dimensions first. A Volvo 240 or motorsport-caliper title does not establish every 142 application. Choose street or competition friction for its supported operating conditions. Black, Blue 9012 and DTC compounds should not be selected simply because they appear beside street pads. Front/Rear Service and Suspension Confirm each axle separately and review fitting hardware. Front and rear pads are not interchangeable, and a friction package does not necessarily include rotors. Shocks need matching position, mounts and working travel. Note any changed springs, ride height or mounts when checking a shared application. Choose Your Part Identify production and current 142 brake equipment. Match axle, caliper, pad profile and rotor...

Volvo 144 Parts and Accessories

Find Volvo 144 brake, ignition and differential-component applications for the four-door 140-series sedan. Use actual brake and axle identification alongside production and engine details. Disc Brakes and Ignition Specification Choose front and rear pads by the installed caliper, pad profile and rotor dimensions. Early 140-series listings should not be extended to all production without exact coverage. Select friction for the intended driving conditions. BPR6HS plugs require the installed engine’s complete ignition specification; a four-plug package does not establish compatibility. Differential Gears and Suspension A Dana 30 gear set needs the exact axle variant, carrier compatibility, spline and ratio requirements. A 5.38 ratio is a build choice, not a universal replacement recommendation. Shocks require matching mounts, position and travel. Pinion washers and other hardware must match the actual assembly and the installation procedure. Choose Your Part Identify production, engin...

Find Volvo 145 brake and suspension-service applications for the 140-series wagon. Identify the current calipers, production and suspension equipment when planning a road-service or competition setup. Road and Competition Brake Choices Match caliper, pad profile, rotor dimensions and axle before comparing friction compounds. Early 140-series and later 240 references need their own exact application check. Choose pads for intended operating temperatures and use. HPS, HP+ and competition compounds have different purposes; compound choice cannot correct an incompatible pad profile. Wagon Suspension and Service Contents Shocks need the correct wagon application, mount geometry and working travel. Review any changed springs, ride height or load-support equipment. Plan hardware, rotors and other service items from the actual package contents and installed brake assembly. A pad listing alone is not a complete two-axle overhaul. Choose pads by caliper and profile before comparing street or competition compounds. Shared 140, 240 or motorsport-caliper references do not establish universal interchange. Plan a Complete Service Review whether fitting hardware, sensors or rotors are included in a pad package. Select friction for the intended road or competition conditions. Suspension service requires the correct axle position, mounts and damper travel. Record any altered springs or brake conversions when requesting an application check. Rear rotors require matching hub and dimensions. Select street or competition friction for intended temperatures and use after establishing the correct mechanical application. Differential Ratio and Installation A Dana 30 gear set needs the exact axle variant, carrier and spline requirements. Later 240 references require exact production coverage. Choose friction for the actual operating conditions. HPS, HP+ and competition compounds should be compared by intended use after the correct mechanical application is established. Ignition and Service Planning BPR6HS plugs require the installed engine’s complete heat-range, reach and ignition specification. A shared listing or package of four does not establish fit. Compare road and competition compounds for the car’s actual use. Review hardware and rotor contents so the selected package covers the intended service. Rear Axle and Gear Ratio A Dana 30 gear set requires the exact axle variant, carrier, spline and ratio compatibility. Confirm the current assembly rather than selecting solely by the 245 name. Choose street or competition friction for its intended conditions. A motorsport-caliper pad should only be selected for that actual installed caliper. Measured Sway-Bar Bushings A front 21 mm sway-bar mount bushing needs a matching measured bar diameter and mounting arrangement. A 240-series title requires exact 262 application support. Review bracket compatibility, supplied bushings and installation instructions. Changes to sway bars or suspension can make original vehicle specifications insufficient.
