Installation Instructions
- Park the vehicle and disengage power to avoid accidental mirror adjustment during the process.
- Carefully pry the mirror glass away from the housing using a plastic trim tool, working around the edges until the retaining clips release.
- Disconnect the wiring harness connected to the mirror glass for heating or auto-dimming functions.
- Remove the T10 Torx screws securing the factory housing to the mirror body.
- Release the factory housing from its perimeter retaining clips and lift it away from the mirror body.
- Position the new carbon fiber housing over the mirror body, aligning the front edge and retaining clips.
- Press the housing into place until all clips engage, then reinstall the T10 Torx screws without overtightening.
- Reconnect the mirror glass wiring harness and snap the glass back into position.
