Ram 1500 TRX 2021-2023 Street Challenge Front Brake Rotors
Standard Components (Per Axle):
Slotted Disc: Segmented slot pattern for improved pad grip and pedal feel. Cleans away debris between pad and disc. Minimize warpage and brake fade resistance. Ensures maximum heat and gas dissipation. For more severe applications (including SUVs), slotted is preferred.
Drilled Disc: Segmented radius drill pattern for improved pad grip and reduce noise. Cleans away debris between pad and disc. Ensures heat and gas dissipation. For street and light track use, drilled is preferred.
Rotora’s Brake Rotor Kit is a 2-piece constructed disc system engineered specifically to replace the OEM brake disc with no modifications required. Components consist of a lightweight forged aluminum center bell hat to reduce unsprung weight (or steel bell hats for heavy-duty), a directionally ventilated (airfoil vane) high-carbon alloy disc ring for superior air flow-thermal capacity-heat dissipation, and stainless steel Anti-Rattle Float Drive mounting hardware (or stainless steel Flex-Top Locknut Float Drive Pin hardware for heavy-duty) to accommodate different expansion and contraction rates under extreme braking. The kit features Rotora’s exclusive Airfoil Slot (or 3-D Drill) pattern to increase brake pad grip and pedal feel, maximize heat and gas dissipation, and minimize warpage and brake fade resistance. All forged aluminum bell hats are hard anodized mil-spec finish for abrasion resistance. All disc rings are heat-treated and coated with anti-corrosion zinc plating for rust protection.
Developed with the same parameters as the Original Equipment (OE) specifications in both quality and finish, Rotora®’s brake discs are assured to meet and exceed all vehicle manufacturers’ specifications and tolerances under the worldwide ISO 9001 quality standards. CNC machined and balanced for optimum performance, Rotora®’s brake discs feature special segmented slot, or drill & slot pattern which is applied to the disc’s front and back surfaces to ensure maximum heat and gas dissipation for greater stopping power and minimize warping and cracking caused by repeated, high stress, high temperature braking. With an anti-corrosion zinc plating finish as an added protective layer to reduce corrosion and prolong disc life, Rotora®’s brake disc quality guarantees top performance and longer durability.
