Install Instructions
- Raise and safely support the rear of the Jeep, then remove the wheels for access.
- Support the rear axle with a jack to control droop while removing the factory or old shock.
- Disconnect the upper and lower shock mounting hardware and remove the old shock and reservoir.
- Position the RD07630FCD shock body at the lower axle mount and install the supplied hardware finger tight.
- Mount the upper shock eye to the frame bracket and secure with the provided hardware.
- Mount the remote reservoir bracket in a clear location and secure the reservoir hose away from moving parts.
- Torque all mounting hardware to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
- Cycle the suspension by hand to check for clearance at full extension and compression.
- Reinstall the wheels, lower the Jeep, adjust the Fast CD setting to taste, and test drive.
