Installation Instructions
- Safely raise and support the vehicle and remove the rear wheels
- Remove the caliper slide pin bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor without disconnecting the brake line
- Suspend the caliper with a wire hook to avoid stressing the brake hose
- Remove old pads from the caliper bracket and clean all contact surfaces with a wire brush
- Apply a thin film of high-temperature ceramic brake lubricant to bracket contact points only, not on friction surfaces or rotor face
- Use a C-clamp and the old pad to compress the caliper piston fully into the bore
- Install the new RP.10530.3 pads into the caliper bracket ensuring correct orientation
- Reinstall the caliper over the rotor and torque slide pin bolts to manufacturer specification
- Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to spec
- Repeat on the opposite side
- Pump the brake pedal until firm before moving the vehicle
- Complete a thorough bed-in procedure before any aggressive or hard braking
