The Skyjacker 8208 is a High Clearance Black MAX dual steering stabilizer kit designed for 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL, Unlimited JL, Wrangler 4xe, and 2020-2022 Jeep Gladiator JT 4WD platforms with a minimum of 2 inches of suspension lift. Unlike standard-mount dual kits that position cylinders in front of the tie rod, the 8208 mounts above the tie rod to maximize ground clearance on builds running long-arm suspensions, large skid plates, or aggressive rock-crawling configurations. The dual Black MAX cylinders provide twin-cylinder damping force to control the JL's front Dana 44 HP axle under large tire and lift inputs. Note: boots are not included. Installation Overview

1. Chock the rear wheels, engage the parking brake, and center the steering wheel.
2. Remove the factory steering stabilizer and all factory brackets.
3. Press greased hourglass bushings into the body eyes of both 8208 Black MAX cylinders.
4. Mount the High Clearance center axle bracket to the front axle housing with the supplied U-bolts. Do not fully tighten.
5. Position the above-tie-rod brackets on the top side of the tie rod. Secure with U-bolts.
6. Install washers and poly stem bushings on each stabilizer shaft end. Connect to the tie rod brackets. Tighten until bushings swell slightly.
7. Extend each stabilizer to half travel. Torque center axle U-bolts to 30 ft-lbs. Torque tie rod bracket U-bolts to 240 in-lbs.
8. Cycle steering lock to lock. Confirm no binding and minimum 0.25-inch clearance between the stabilizer body and the drag link. Re-check torque after the first 100 miles.
