Softride Rear Leaf Spring Engineered For Heavy Duty Ram Trucks
The Skyjacker DR74S rear leaf spring uses Softride Technology to deliver a controlled lift for 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4 wheel drive trucks. Each leaf is shot peened with hard steel pellets at high velocity, increasing tensile strength without sacrificing spring life. The DR74S tapers over the entire length of the leaf to distribute loads more evenly and reduce the tendency for leafs to dig into one another.

Install Instructions
- Raise and support the vehicle on jack stands, then support the axle with a floor jack.
- Remove the factory spring by disconnecting the shackles, U-bolts and mounting hardware.
- Position the new Skyjacker spring and reinstall the shackles, U-bolts and mounting hardware.
- Torque all mounting hardware to manufacturer specifications.
- Lower the vehicle to the ground and cycle the suspension through full travel.
- Perform a wheel alignment check before returning the vehicle to normal service.
