Adjustable Rear Geometry for GM B-Body Performance
UMI 3624-R replaces the factory rear upper control arms on verified GM B-Body applications with an adjustable, extended-length design. The red powder-coated arms use greaseable Roto-Joints to reduce bind, support suspension articulation, and allow on-car pinion-angle adjustment for street, autocross, and track use.
Key Features
- UMI 3624-R is sold as a matched pair of adjustable rear upper control arms
- Greaseable Delrin-lined Roto-Joints provide 28 degrees of unrestricted movement
- 4140 chromoly spherical balls and threaded adjusters support precise alignment
- Quarter-inch mild-steel mounting plates add strength at the chassis connection
- On-car adjustment helps establish the required rear pinion angle
- Red powder-coated finish protects the mild-steel construction
- Direct bolt-on design uses the vehicle's original mounting hardware
- Manufactured in the USA

FAQ
What is the 3624-R?It is a red pair of adjustable, extended-length rear upper control arms for the verified GM B-Body applications listed above.
What do the Roto-Joints change? They allow the rear suspension to articulate with less bind than a fixed rubber or polyurethane bushing while retaining a Delrin race for controlled street operation.
Can pinion angle be adjusted with the arms installed?Yes. The threaded design allows on-car length adjustment so the rear pinion angle can be set for the vehicle's driveline configuration.
How much movement does each joint provide? The manufacturer specifies 28 degrees of total unrestricted movement.
Does this fit every GM rear-wheel-drive car?No. Fitment is limited to the years, makes, and models in the fitment table.
Is mounting hardware included? No. The manufacturer specifies reuse of the original vehicle hardware.
Is welding or drilling required? No. This is a direct bolt-on application for the verified vehicles and requires no chassis modification.
What pinion angle should be used?UMI recommends setting the angle for the vehicle and driveline combination; its installation guidance notes a typical street target of one to two degrees downward.
Installation Instructions
- Confirm the vehicle application, red finish, and 3624-R package label before disassembly.
- Support the vehicle securely and keep the rear axle supported before removing either factory upper control arm.
- Replace one arm at a time, reusing serviceable original mounting hardware.
- Adjust both arms evenly to establish the required pinion angle without side-loading the axle.
- Torque all fasteners to the vehicle service-manual specifications at normal ride height.
- Grease the Roto-Joints, road-test the vehicle, and recheck fastener torque and pinion angle.
Alignment Components
Shop alignment components, camber kits, caster kits, and adjustable control arms at Black Ops Auto Works. Find vehicle-specific parts for correcting suspension alignment or preparing a performance setup, including toe links, adjustment cams, camber plates, and replacement mounts. Choose components based on your vehicle, suspension configuration, and measured alignment needs. Camber, Caster, and Toe Correction Camber describes the inward or outward tilt of a wheel when viewed from the front. Caster describes the steering axis angle when viewed from the side. Toe describes whether the wheels point inward or outward when viewed from above. Each measurement has a different role, so the right correction part depends on which angle needs adjustment. This collection includes options from Black Ops Auto Works, AAD Performance, SPC Performance, Eibach, SuperPro, Whiteline, and other suspension brands. Adjustment capability varies by product. Buick LeSabre Parts and Accessories
Explore Buick LeSabre parts by generation and body. Window deflectors, replacement rotors and complete brake upgrades require different application and installation checks. Deflector and Interior Installation Match window deflectors to exact production, body and door count. Compare outside-mount installation and the pieces supplied before choosing a finish. Floor mats need measured floor shape, retention and pedal clearance. A universal mat does not establish a custom-molded installation. Brake Upgrades and Wheel Clearance Replacement rotors need the installed caliper, mounting and dimensions. A complete brake kit also needs exact chassis or spindle coverage and compatible hydraulic requirements. Use the brake-kit manufacturer’s clearance template against the actual wheel design. Wheel diameter alone does not establish spoke or barrel clearance. Choose Your Part Identify generation, body and door count. Compare deflector mounting and contents. Separate replacement rotors from conve...

Buick Roadmaster Parts and Accessories
Explore Buick Roadmaster parts with year, body and installed engine identified. Throttle-body gaskets, brake parts and dampers need exact assembly coverage. Gasket and Engine Interfaces Match a throttle-body gasket by exact engine, throttle body, opening pattern and mating surfaces. A related GM engine-family title does not establish every installation. Document engine and induction conversions so service parts follow the assemblies fitted rather than the original badge alone. Brakes and Body-Specific Suspension Choose pads or shoes against the installed caliper or drum assembly. Record axle, dimensions and conversions before comparing friction material. Shocks and springs need actual body and load coverage, particularly where sedan and wagon equipment differs. Compare mounts, length and the installed ride-height or level-control arrangement. Chevrolet Caprice Parts and Accessories
Find Chevrolet Caprice parts with the generation and body identified first. Window accessories for later cars, classic brake assemblies and electronic control accessories have different application requirements. Body and Brake Generations Match window deflectors to the exact doors, glass and installation method. A four-piece set should be checked for the windows covered rather than selected from the Caprice name alone. For brake service, identify the installed axle, rotor or drum dimensions and caliper. Keep conversion references where hubs, brakes or suspension have changed. Cab and Accelerator Interfaces Floor mats need measured contours, retention and clearance around the pedals and seats. Universal coverage does not establish a molded sedan or wagon floor fit. Pedal-response accessories need the actual accelerator connector and explicit vehicle coverage. Compare phone or display requirements separately; a response change does not establish additional engine horsepower. Choose Yo...

Chevrolet Imapala Parts and Accessories
Find Chevrolet Impala parts with the generation, body and installed equipment identified. The Impala name spans different chassis, so brake, suspension and exterior purchases need a precise application. Generation and Installed Equipment Use model year, body and drivetrain records to identify the car. Keep Impala Limited applications separate when a product distinguishes that body from other Impala production. Record calipers, rotor or drum dimensions and axle before selecting brakes. Factory equipment or later conversions can change the correct pads, hydraulic pieces and hardware. Body, Suspension and Service Planning Exterior parts need matching doors, glass, panel shape and attachment. A shared Impala name does not establish body interchangeability across generations. Suspension parts should suit the installed mounts, ride height and equipment. Keep conversion references with engine and gearbox details when the car has been modified. Chevrolet Impala Parts and Accessories
Find Chevrolet Impala parts by generation, body and installed mechanical equipment. Build each purchase around the actual brake, suspension or body application rather than expecting one specification across the model’s history. Brakes and Chassis Service Identify the axle, caliper, rotor or drum dimensions and hydraulic equipment. Record any brake upgrade or axle replacement before choosing service components. Suspension selection needs the installed mounts, ride height and equipment. A modified car should retain references for springs, dampers and conversion hardware. Body Coverage and Model Distinctions Match exterior components to the actual panel, doors, glass and attachment. Production ranges and Limited designations can separate parts that share the Impala name. For engine or drivetrain work, identify installed engine and transmission rather than relying on a trim badge. Keep donor assembly and conversion records where the powertrain has changed.
