Installation Instructions
- Raise and support the vehicle safely. Remove the axle shaft(s) from the AMC Model 20 housing.

- Determine the required shim pack thickness by calculating the difference between the measured play and the factory minimum specification.
- Select shims from the SK M20-5 kit to build the correct pack thickness, starting with the 0.005in shim as the base increment.
- Install the selected shim pack on the axle tube, then reinstall the axle shaft.
- Recheck end play with the dial indicator and adjust shim selection as needed.
- Reinstall all retaining hardware, brake components, and wheels. Torque all fasteners to specification.
- Check for leaks and road-test before returning to service.
