Installation Instructions
1. Drain differential fluid and remove the axle shafts and carrier assembly. 2. Press out the old pinion bearing races and clean the housing bore. 3. Press in the new races from the YUKZPKGM8.6-A kit. 4. Assemble the pinion with inner bearing and selected shims to achieve the correct pinion depth. 5. Install the crush sleeve and outer pinion bearing. 6. Press in the new pinion seal. 7. Torque pinion nut in increments to achieve the specified preload. 8. Reinstall carrier and set backlash per ring and pinion gear specifications. 9. Refill with appropriate gear lubricant.
