Frequently Asked Questions
How do I confirm this BorgWarner part matches my turbo system?
Match the exact BorgWarner part number, turbo family, compressor and turbine wheel sizes, housing A/R, flange, inlet and outlet geometry, bearing housing, wastegate configuration, and every connection before ordering.
Is this BorgWarner SuperCore assembly a direct replacement?
Only when the exact part number, dimensions, housings, flanges, rotation, wastegate configuration, oil and coolant connections, and vehicle or system application all match. Similar turbo families are not automatically interchangeable.
What supporting parts should be inspected during installation?
Inspect or replace the oil feed and drain, coolant lines, gaskets, fasteners, intake and charge piping, intercooler, exhaust connections, wastegate hardware, and filtration components. Correct the cause of the previous turbo failure before startup.
Installation Instructions
Follow BorgWarner's current instructions and the vehicle or system service information for this exact part number. Verify every interface before disassembly, correct the cause of any prior turbo failure, prime the oil system, keep debris out of all passages, use new required seals and fasteners, confirm free rotation and line routing, and check for leaks before load. Professional turbo-system installation and calibration are recommended.
