Carbon Fiber Rear Engine Oil Cover for the Ferrari 488
This engine bay cover replaces the moulded factory panel that sits over the oil filler and coolant reservoir area of the Ferrari 488 with exposed carbon fiber. Part AP.FER.488.03 keeps the two round reservoir apertures, the rectangular recess and the cross shaped cut out of the original piece, so every cap and label the panel is meant to expose stays reachable. It is offered in a gloss carbon weave or in forged carbon.

- Lift the original panel clear, easing it past the reservoir necks rather than forcing it.
- Wipe the mounting points clean and check for any oil residue around the filler area.
- Lower the carbon panel into place and confirm both circular apertures line up with the reservoir necks.
- Start each fixing by hand, then tighten gently so the laminate is not crushed at the mounting points.
- Check the panel sits flush along every edge, then close the engine cover and confirm nothing fouls.
