Replace the brittle factory plastic degas tank on your 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke F-250 Super Duty F-350 Super Duty or Excursion with this all-aluminum Mishimoto degas tank. Engineered for long-term durability it resists cracking and leaking while offering clear coolant level visibility through an integrated sight glass.
Key Features
- All-Aluminum Construction: Cast and TIG-welded aluminum prevents brittleness and clouding common in stock plastic tanks ensuring reliable coolant containment for years.
- Extra 1/8-inch NPT Port: Added port simplifies pressure monitoring and testing for diagnosing cooling system issues quickly.
- Integrated Sight Glass: Transparent window allows instant coolant level checks without flashlights or removal unlike opaque factory tanks.
- Micro-Wrinkle Black Finish: Powder-coated surface resists corrosion and complements engine bay aesthetics on 7.3L Powerstroke trucks.
- Increased capacity over stock for better thermal management during heavy towing or performance use.
- Bolt-on design uses factory mounting points and hardware.

Cooling Packages
Cooling packages bundle radiators, fans, shrouds, coolant hoses, and thermostats into a single kit that addresses the complete cooling system rather than replacing one component at a time. Upgrading the cooling system as a coordinated package ensures all components are matched for flow rate, pressure rating, and connection size, delivering better temperature control than mixing individual components from different sources.Popular UpgradesAluminum radiator, electric fan, and shroud combo packages are the most popular choice for engine swaps, restomod builds, and high-output street cars where the factory cooling system cannot manage the increased heat rejection of a modified engine. High-performance cooling packages for towing applications that include a heavy-duty radiator, transmission cooler, and upgraded fan assembly are the most practical solution for trucks and SUVs that regularly tow at or near maximum capacity. Radiator and cap packages with pressure-matched components prevent...
