Installation Instructions
- Confirm the lifters in the engine measure 0.728 to 0.729 inch between the flats.
- Remove the intake manifold and cylinder heads as required to reach the lifter trays.
- Remove the factory lifter trays and clean the valley thoroughly.
- Fit the lifters into the new billet trays and confirm they sit square.
- Check lifter travel for binding before the trays are torqued down.
- Confirm the lifter does not bottom out in the tray at maximum lift.
- Install the trays and torque the fasteners in sequence.
- Rotate the engine by hand through two full revolutions to check clearance.
