Installation Instructions
- Raise the rear of the car with both wheels off the ground and place jack stands under the frame rather than the rear axle.
- Change the control arms one side at a time so the axle cannot move forward, using 18mm tools on the front and rear arm bolts.
- Lubricate the polyurethane bushing surfaces on each arm and fit them with the grease fittings pointing toward the ground, leaving the bolts loose.
- Move to the panhard bar and remove the original bar with 18mm and 21mm tools, saving the OEM stepped bolts for reuse.
- Grease the bushing surfaces of the new panhard bar and install it with the fittings angled down, again leaving the hardware loose.
- Reposition the stands under the rear axle so the suspension carries the vehicle's weight.
- Tighten all four control arm bolts to 72 ft-lbs.
- Tighten the panhard bar hardware to 60 ft-lb.
- Give every grease fitting one to one and a half pumps of non-lithium grease, then lower the car.
