Flanges aftermarket parts and performance accessories

Shop exhaust flanges, V-band connections, turbo adapters and related fabrication hardware at Black Ops Auto Works. Compare Vibrant, Stainless Bros, Ticon, Kooks, Turbosmart and BLOX references for custom exhaust, intake and turbo-system work. Choose the connection’s function and mating geometry first, then compare material, dimensions and service access.

Bolted Flanges and Cylinder-Head Patterns

Two-, three- and four-bolt connections require the appropriate hole pattern, face shape, opening and gasket arrangement. A matching pipe diameter alone does not establish the correct mating flange. Compare dimensions from the actual joint before selecting a replacement or fabrication piece.

Cylinder-head flanges are separate from collector and pipe-joint flanges. The range includes engine-specific patterns for import and domestic header fabrication. Match the head’s port and bolt geometry, flange thickness and the tubing or header design being built.

V-Band, Ball-and-Socket and Turbo Connections

A matched V-band arrangement can make a section easier to remove for service. Compare the male/female profile, flange geometry, clamp and tubing interface as a set. Nominal size does not establish cross-brand compatibility, and a clamp-only listing is separate from a complete flange kit.

Kooks ball-and-socket halves and swivel-seal clamp references serve their specified joint designs. Turbo inlet and outlet flanges also have distinct roles: T3/T4 inlet patterns are not a universal description of turbine outlets. Match the actual turbine housing, outlet profile and manufacturer reference.

Compressor, Wastegate and Blow-Off-Valve Interfaces

Turbosmart LockSleeve compressor-outlet adapters provide different transitions to supported clamp or hose-barb connections. Choose the exact outlet size and mating interface. These charge-air adapters are separate from hot-side turbine outlet hardware.

Wastegate inlet/outlet flanges, valve seats and BOV mounting pieces serve particular valve families. The selection also includes MAF flanges and turbo oil-feed or drain components. Match the equipment reference, port geometry and circuit rather than treating every flange as an exhaust-pipe connector.

Materials, Flex Sections and Fabrication Planning

Stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum and titanium references support different assemblies and joining processes. Choose material compatible with the application and planned fabrication. Do not assume a material label guarantees freedom from warping, corrosion or heat-management problems.

Flex couplings come in different lengths and liner arrangements. Plan their position and permitted movement with the exhaust layout, supports and manufacturer instructions. A coupling is not a substitute for correct alignment or adequate mounting.

Review gaskets, clamps, fasteners and weld preparation before assembly. Flange halves, complete pairs, valve service pieces and fabrication tools have different contents. Ask our team about the exact mating parts if you need help comparing references.

Choose Your Part

  • Identify the exhaust, intake, valve, sensor or fluid connection being made.
  • Match bolt pattern or flange profile, opening and mating equipment reference.
  • Coordinate material, tubing dimensions and fabrication process.
  • Check clamps, gaskets, complete-pair contents and service access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will any same-size V-band clamp and flange work together?

Do not assume so. Match the flange profile, clamp geometry and manufacturer-supported combination. Nominal tubing size alone is insufficient.

Are T3 and T4 universal turbo outlet standards?

They commonly describe turbine inlet mounting patterns. An outlet needs the flange specified for the actual turbine housing and outlet geometry, which can be a different bolted or V-band design.

Is a compressor-outlet adapter an exhaust flange?

It serves the charge-air side of the turbo system. Select it for the supported compressor outlet and clamp or hose interface, not as a turbine exhaust connection.

Does a wastegate flange fit every valve of the same diameter?

Use the specified valve family and inlet or outlet reference. Nominal valve size alone does not establish the seat, flange or clamp compatibility.

Should every bolted flange use a multi-layer steel gasket?

Use the gasket or sealing arrangement specified for the joint. Flange design, face geometry, material and operating conditions determine the appropriate seal.

Does a flex coupling correct a poorly aligned exhaust?

Plan proper alignment and support first. A coupling accommodates the movement permitted by its design and installation instructions; it should not be used to force an incorrect layout together.
