Choose the Right JLT Part

• Cold air and ram air intakes: confirm model year, engine, trim, factory hood and existing induction hardware. Big Air and supercharger-specific kits need additional compatibility checks.
• Replacement filters: match the intake part number, flange diameter, filter height and filter media. Similar-looking filters are not automatically interchangeable.
• Pre-filter wraps: choose the wrap specified for your main filter size and shape. A pre-filter is an outer cover, not a replacement air filter.
• Engine-bay covers: match the vehicle and mounting location for coolant-tank, master-cylinder, radiator-support and strut covers. These are dress-up covers, not replacement reservoirs or brake components.

Tuning, Fitment and Installation

JLT offers both tune-required and no-tune intake designs. The requirement belongs to the exact part number and application; do not apply one kit’s instructions to another. Check the product page and manufacturer instructions for calibration, airflow-meter, throttle-body and supercharger requirements before installation. Review emissions eligibility for the exact kit and vehicle rather than treating a brand-wide claim as approval.

Does every JLT intake need a tune?
No. JLT lists both tune-required and no-tune systems. Follow the requirement for the exact kit, vehicle and engine combination.

Can I select a filter by vehicle alone?
For a replacement filter on an aftermarket intake, start with the intake or filter part number and confirm all dimensions and media. Vehicle fitment alone may not identify the installed intake.

Are a coolant-tank cover and a coolant reservoir the same part?
No. A cover dresses the existing component; it does not replace the reservoir. Check the listed contents before ordering.
