What is the difference between the Acura RSX and RSX Type-S?

The base RSX used the 2.0L K20A3 engine producing 155 horsepower with a five-speed manual or automatic. The Type-S used the higher-spec K20A2 with VTEC making 210 horsepower, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. The Type-S is the preferred platform for performance builds due to its better engine, closer gear ratios, and improved brakes.

Is the Acura RSX the same as the Honda Integra?
