In-Line Modules aftermarket parts and performance accessories

Shop aFe SCORCHER power modules and the separate specialty modules listed at Black Ops Auto Works. Compare GT, HD, BLUE and PLUS references for the exact engine, sensor arrangement and control features you want. Choose the module’s actual function before comparing power settings or phone connectivity.

SCORCHER GT and HD Applications

aFe references cover specific gasoline and diesel applications, including turbo engines and particular naturally aspirated HEMI, Jeep and Toyota configurations. Match the exact part number and engine rather than assuming every power module changes boost or connects to the same sensors.

MAP/IAT, MAF and fuel-pressure-related modules serve distinct arrangements. Compare the selected installation guide, factory connectors and supported modes. A gasoline 3.6L reference is different from a 3.0L EcoDiesel module even where the vehicle name overlaps.

BLUE and PLUS Control Features

SCORCHER BLUE references identify Bluetooth/app functions, while GT, HD and PLUS configurations have their own switches, pedal connections or other supported controls. Compare the exact item’s feature list; Bluetooth, four preset modes and pedal functions should not be assigned to every module.

Check current device/app support and whether an in-cabin switch is supplied or required. A power module and a throttle-response device have different functions. Choose the intended change rather than treating a more responsive pedal as proof of additional engine power.

Module Compatibility and Supporting Setup

An in-line module uses its defined harness or sensor connection, while an ECU flash changes calibration through a different process. Review compatibility with the existing calibration and other electronics before combining devices. Do not assume multiple tuners or modules can be stacked.

Fuel grade, spark-plug guidance, towing settings and supporting modifications vary by reference. Use the selected manufacturer’s instructions and documented application; there is no universal horsepower gain, connector layout or installation sequence for this category.

Specialty and Replacement Modules

The HKS Standard Fuel Cut Defender is a separate control component with its own intended system and setup requirements. It is not a complete engine calibration or a substitute for a coordinated fueling and monitoring plan.

The Omix ignition-module reference serves stated older Jeep applications. It is a replacement ignition component, not a SCORCHER-style power module. Identify the diagnosed service requirement before choosing a part by the category name.

Choose Your Part

  • Choose power-module features or identify a replacement/specialty control component.
  • Match exact engine, model-year application and factory sensor arrangement.
  • Compare switch, app and any pedal functions for the selected reference.
  • Review fuel, calibration compatibility and installation requirements before combining devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every in-line module change turbo boost?

No. The range includes different engines and sensor/control arrangements. Choose the actual function of the selected part.

Does every SCORCHER have Bluetooth?

No. BLUE references identify Bluetooth features; other series have their own stated controls. Compare the exact version.

Is a power module the same as an ECU flash tuner?

No. An in-line module uses its defined electrical/harness arrangement, while a flash tool changes ECU calibration. Their compatibility and setup requirements differ.

Can I stack a module with any existing tune?

Do not assume that is supported. Review both manufacturers’ requirements for the installed calibration and electronics.

Do PLUS features apply to all GT or HD modules?

No. Compare the exact reference’s switch, app, pedal and operating features rather than transferring them across the series.

Is an HKS Fuel Cut Defender a complete engine tune?

No. It serves a defined control function and requires a compatible, coordinated engine/fuel-system setup.

Is the Omix Jeep module a performance-tuning box?

It is the listed replacement ignition module for its stated Jeep application, a separate function from the aFe power modules.
