PowerStop logo

Choose PowerStop brakes by the job the vehicle does and the brake system it already has. This collection includes replacement pads, rotors, matched brake kits, calipers and service components. Start with the exact manufacturer part number or match your vehicle's year, model, axle and brake package before comparing product ranges.

Which PowerStop range fits your use?

  • Z16 Evolution and Z17 stock-replacement pads: ceramic options for everyday replacement braking. Z17 adds application-specific installation hardware; check the exact listing rather than assuming every pad set includes the same pieces.
  • Z23 Evolution Sport: carbon-fiber ceramic pads and application-specific kits for daily-driven vehicles.
  • Z26 Street Warrior: carbon-fiber ceramic braking for high-horsepower street cars and muscle cars. Z26 is a street range, not a substitute for a dedicated track compound.
  • Z36 Truck & Tow: components and kits intended for trucks, towing, hauling and demanding loaded use. Brake upgrades do not increase the vehicle manufacturer's towing or payload limits.
  • Track Day and Track Day Spec: dedicated track-oriented compounds with different operating characteristics from street ceramic pads. Choose the exact range for the event and follow its own installation and bedding instructions.

Rotors, kits and calipers are not interchangeable listings

PowerStop offers plain replacement, coated, semi-coated, and drilled-and-slotted rotors. A corrosion-protective coating is not the same specification as a drilled-and-slotted friction surface. Confirm rotor diameter, thickness, venting, mounting dimensions and any left/right designation for the exact part.

Some listings are individual components; others supply an axle pair or a matched kit. A part that fits either the front or rear axle is not automatically a two-axle package. Caliper finish, side, bracket inclusion, condition and any core requirement also need an exact-part check. Use each product's included-components information rather than its photograph alone.

Choose Your Part

  • Match the exact PowerStop MPN, not a similar-looking pad or rotor.
  • Confirm model year, make, model and trim, plus any engine, drivetrain or production-date condition in the application notes.
  • Identify the factory brake package. Rotor diameter, piston count, performance-brake options and parking-brake design can change compatibility within the same model year.
  • Check the required axle and side. Left/right rotors and calipers must be ordered for their specified position.
  • For modified vehicles, verify the installed braking hardware and wheel clearance. A stock-vehicle application does not establish compatibility with an aftermarket conversion.

Vehicle filters help narrow the catalog, but brake-package conditions in the product description still matter. Do not treat a broad year/make/model match as confirmation that every brake option fits.

Installation, break-in and related parts

Follow the vehicle service procedure and the current instructions for the specific PowerStop range. Coated-rotor, drilled-and-slotted and track products can have different break-in requirements. Use professional installation when you are not equipped to inspect and service the complete brake system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every kit include calipers?

No. Pad-and-rotor kits, kits with calipers and individual service parts are separate products. Check the exact MPN's contents before ordering.

Can I use Z26 pads for track days?

Z26 is positioned for high-performance street driving. PowerStop offers separate Track Day and Track Day Spec ranges; match the compound to the intended use rather than choosing by the largest number.

Why does my model have several brake options?

Factory equipment can change rotor size, caliper configuration and pad shape. Read every application note and confirm the installed brake package before choosing a part.
