How do air ride suspension controllers work?

Air ride suspension controllers regulate the air pressure in air bag or air strut suspension components using electronically controlled solenoid valves and an air compressor. The controller receives height or pressure sensor inputs and adjusts each corner independently to maintain a programmed ride height or respond to driver inputs. Advanced systems allow saving multiple ride height profiles for different driving scenarios, such as a low static stance for show display and a raised highway setting for daily driving.

Can a suspension controller be installed on any vehicle?

Suspension controllers are designed to work with air ride suspension systems or electronically adjustable coilover kits. They are not compatible with standard coilover or spring-based suspension systems. Installing an air ride management controller requires an air suspension kit to already be installed on the vehicle, or to be installed at the same time as part of a complete air suspension system build.
