Installation Instructions

1. Safely lift and support the vehicle and remove the driveshaft and transmission.
2. Remove the OEM pressure plate and clutch disc assembly.
3. Inspect and resurface or replace the flywheel as needed. ACT recommends a clean, flat friction surface.
4. Install the new ACT3000506 disc onto the flywheel using the alignment tool (ACT AT90 or equivalent) to center it in the splines.
5. Install the ACT pressure plate (Heavy Duty or Xtreme) and torque the bolts to factory spec in a star pattern.
6. Replace the release bearing with the ACT RB004 or equivalent.
7. Reinstall the transmission and driveshaft. Torque all fasteners to specification.
8. Adjust clutch pedal free-play if applicable and test engagement through several drive cycles before hard use.
