Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise and support the vehicle on a lift or jack stands. Allow all exhaust components to cool fully before beginning.
2. Disconnect the factory exhaust valve actuator wiring harnesses at the rear muffler section.
3. Remove the OEM rear muffler pair by unclipping the rubber hangers and loosening the mid-pipe clamp connections.
4. Lower and set aside the factory mufflers. Retain all OEM rubber hangers for reuse with the S-ME/T/13H.
5. Dry-fit the Akrapovic link pipes to the factory mid-pipe outlets and verify alignment before tightening any fasteners.
6. Hang the titanium muffler pair from the OEM rubber hangers and align the inlet connections to the link pipes.
7. Leave all clamp connections loose during initial fitment to allow full positional adjustment.
8. Reconnect the factory valve actuator wiring to the S-ME/T/13H valve assemblies; connectors are directionally keyed.
9. Confirm that all muffler sections and link pipes clear the undercarriage, heat shields, and rear bumper by at least 10 mm on all sides.
10. Torque all clamps to Akrapovic specification, then start the engine and inspect every joint for exhaust leaks before installing the optional tip set.
