Run E85 straight from the pump without having to worry about manually calculating your ethanol content percentage! With the AMS CAN Bus Flex Fuel Kit you can run gasoline, E85, or any mixture of gas and ethanol with a content rating from 0 to 100% ethanol. Our flex fuel system’s ethanol sensor and electronics instruct your vehicle’s ECU on how to adjust parameters like fueling, boost, and timing to produce the most power possible for a given fuel or mixture of fuels. These adjustments happen seamlessly in the background of your flex fuel tune allowing you to be flexible with what fuel you utilize in your Nissan. This flex-fuel system is truly set-it-and-forget-it — once installed and tuned, no further adjustments are needed. With CAN bus integration, it also provides three additional analog inputs for monitoring and failsafe setting, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The complete kit includes the AMS CAN bus box, ethanol sensor, braided fuel lines, hardware, and a plug & play wiring harness for an easy and quick install. This kit is also directly compatible with EcuTek software to provide a seamless flex fuel calibration solution.
ENGINEERED TO BE THE BEST
AMS Performance is an engineering company first. We have built our decades-long reputation as a leading motorsports aftermarket component manufacturer by creating the highest performing parts through a focused engineering approach to design. This design method allows us to include features not found in any other kits on the market, including a motorsports quality plug-n-play harness, braided fuel lines, and AN fitting connections. Where others use cheap fittings, low grade rubber fuel hose, and leak prone clamps, we have put together a system that uses the highest quality materials for years of trouble free operation.
Also included in the AMS Performance Nissan GTR CAN Bus Flex Fuel Kit are a number of brackets which are designed to secure the various components within the kit to stable locations. Where other kits leave items like the content sensor unsecured to move around in the engine bay, we provide robust brackets to mount these pieces. This is done to prevent any possibility of damage to the lines from continuously rubbing on other components, as well as to prevent fittings from possibly loosening over time, causing a dangerous fuel leak.
FACTORY CAN BUS INTEGRATION
With this new and improved Can Bus Flex Fuel Kit, our team of engineers have come up with a solution to integrate with the factory CAN bus protocol. This allows for seamless communication with the vehicle’s ECU rather than a piggybacked or hijacked connection from an existing engine system. In addition to this, there are three additional 0-5v analog inputs available through our proprietary CAN bus box. With our CAN bus integration, your tuner can set failsafes that trigger if a sensor detects a reading outside the safe range. These additional analog inputs can be used for monitoring coolant pressure, fuel pressure, exhaust backpressure, crankcase pressure, and various other aftermarket 0-5v analog sensors, seamlessly integrating them into the CAN bus network. This provides enhanced safety measures that were not previously available to your tuner. Through software calibration, individual failsafes can be programmed to activate when pressure is too high or too low, offering an extra layer of protection for your engine, even in extreme conditions. Our team is always looking for ways to improve our products and adapt to stay on top of the latest changes in the industry. These additional safety features give you peace of mind when using the AMS Performance Nissan GTR CAN Bus Flex Fuel Kit, so you can simply enjoy driving your E85 tuned GTR.

Flex fuel conversion kits allow gasoline-powered vehicles to run on E85 ethanol fuel or any blend between gasoline and E85, unlocking significant octane advantages of 105 or higher that allow substantial ignition timing advance, boost pressure increases, and air-fuel ratio optimization on turbocharged and supercharged engines without the knock sensitivity limitation that gasoline creates. The core of a flex fuel kit is an inline ethanol content sensor installed in the fuel line that reads the ethanol percentage of the fuel in real time and sends a signal to the engine management system or an auxiliary controller that adjusts fueling, timing, and boost parameters accordingly. On forced induction platforms including Subaru EJ and FA, Mitsubishi 4G63 and 4B11, GM LS and LT, and EcoBoost Ford engines, E85 compatibility is one of the most cost-effective power-per-dollar modifications available. This collection covers flex fuel conversion kits, ethanol content sensors, and supporting hard...

A properly designed fuel delivery system is the backbone of any high-performance engine build, ensuring the injectors or carburetor receive a consistent supply of fuel at the correct pressure regardless of engine load, RPM, or fuel demand. From factory replacement pumps keeping daily drivers on the road to high-flow in-tank modules supporting 1000-horsepower builds, the right fuel delivery components prevent lean conditions, injector damage, and fuel starvation at the worst possible moment. Modern EFI systems are particularly sensitive to fuel pressure variation, with even small drops causing misfires and power loss under hard acceleration. Whether you are restoring a factory system or engineering a purpose-built race setup, matching pump flow rate and fuel pressure regulation to your injector and engine requirements is essential. Popular Upgrades Top-selling fuel delivery components include Aeromotive Phantom in-tank fuel pump kits that retrofit into factory tanks without custom fa...
