Install Instructions

Open the trunk of the 2000 through 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse and locate the tail light access panel on each side. Remove the interior trim panel to expose the rear of the tail light assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the existing tail light by pressing the release tab and pulling firmly. Remove the mounting nuts securing the tail light assembly to the body. Pull the old tail light assembly out from the exterior. Transfer the factory incandescent bulbs from the old assembly to the corresponding sockets in the ANZO 221080 housing. Insert the new 221080 assembly into the mounting opening, thread the mounting nuts, and tighten to factory specification. Reconnect the electrical connector until it clicks. Reinstall the interior trim panel. Verify brake, turn signal, and running light function before returning the vehicle to normal use. Repeat for the opposite side.
