ARB Summit Winch Bumper Kit for the 2017-2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2
The ARB Summit winch bumper kit 3462060KB replaces the factory front bumper on the 2017-2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 with a steel winch mounting bumper and the vehicle specific chassis fitting kit needed to install it. The Summit design carries a 60.3 mm top tube, two piece polyethylene buffers, twin jack points and an airbag compatible chassis mounting system, finished in textured black.

FAQ
Which vehicles does this bumper kit fit?
It is designed for the 2017-2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 with either the 2.8L diesel or the 3.6L gas engine. It is not intended for other Colorado trims or model years.
Do I need to buy a separate mounting kit?
No. The vehicle specific chassis mounting kit is supplied in this package, so the bumper and its mounts ship together.
Is a winch included?
No winch is supplied. The center pan is built to accept most low mount electric winches up to 10,000 lb, and a winch cover panel and clutch access doors are part of the bar.
Can I still use the factory fog lights?
The bumper is not set up to reuse the original equipment fog lights. It uses the ARB fog light surround and accepts ARB fog lights, and there are provisions for two driving lights.
Does this bumper affect the airbag system?
When it is installed exactly as written in the supplied instructions with the supplied hardware, the airbag compatible chassis mounting system is designed not to alter airbag operation.
Does installation require cutting the factory bumper fascia?
Yes. The lower fascia is marked with the supplied template and trimmed along ZR2 specific measurements before the bar is mounted, so an air saw or jigsaw and a drill are needed.
What is needed to run synthetic rope with a hawse fairlead?
A hawse fairlead spacer kit, ARB part 3500600, is required in that case and is sold separately.
What material and finish are used?
The bumper is steel with a textured black finish, and the buffers are two piece polyethylene for a durable contact face.
Does the bumper have rated recovery or tow points?
This model is published without tow points and without rated recovery points, so recovery loads should be handled through a mounted winch or the vehicle's own rated points.
What warranty comes with it?
ARB covers this bumper kit with a 3 year warranty.
Installation Instructions
- Remove the license plate, the inner fender well screws on both sides and the screws behind the fender liner.
- Remove the upper grille fasteners, separate the grille sections and set the retained hardware aside.
- Remove the lower plastic protection panel and the fascia fasteners, then remove the factory bumper assembly.
- Mark the lower fascia with the supplied template using the ZR2 measurements, then trim it with an air saw or jigsaw and dress the edges.
- Install the left and right mount weldments to the chassis with the supplied spacers, plate nuts, washers and high tensile bolts.
- Fit the brace assembly, mount stiffener brackets and the center stone shield panel.
- Assemble the split pan grille, buffers, fog light surround and the LED indicator and clearance lamps to the bar.
- Mount the winch and fairlead to the bar first if a winch is being fitted, then route the control box leads.
- Lift the bar onto the chassis mounts, align it evenly to the body and torque the fasteners to 9 Nm for M6, 22 Nm for M8, 44 Nm for M10 and 77 Nm for M12.
- Install the wing inner panels and the winch cover panel, refit the license plate bracket and reassemble the grille.
- Check light and winch operation and confirm that all wiring and piping clears the bar and mounts by at least 15 mm.
