Does this kit include the bull bar
No. This is the mounting kit only and it contains the chassis brackets, weld assemblies, shims and fasteners. The Summit MKII bull bar is ordered separately.

Will the front airbag system still work normally
Yes. When the bar and this mounting kit are installed exactly as the ARB instructions specify, the front protection bar does not affect operation of the SRS airbag system.
Is any cutting or drilling of the vehicle required
Yes. The factory bumper needs to be cut and drilled at the marked locations before the brackets and bar are fitted, so plan for permanent modification of that panel.
Can the factory fog lights be reused
No. The Summit MKII bar carries its own LED lighting and the OEM fog lights are not compatible with the installation.
Are the brackets side specific
Yes. The outer, inner and underpanel brackets and the weld assemblies are supplied as left and right pairs and each side has to go to its matching chassis rail.
Can factory bumper bolts be reused instead of the supplied hardware
No. Only the graded hardware supplied in the kit should be used because the bolts, nuts and washers are specified by property class for the chassis loads involved.
Do I need a torque wrench
Yes. Every fastener has a published torque figure by size and property class, so a calibrated torque wrench and metric sockets are needed for a correct installation.
Can a winch still be fitted
Yes. The bar is rated for a winch of up to 10,000 lb once it is mounted on this chassis kit. A hawse fairlead spacer kit is needed separately if a synthetic rope hawse fairlead is used.
What tools and skills are needed
Metric hand tools, a cutting and drilling setup for the factory bumper, protective eyewear and hearing protection are needed, and ARB recommends installation by trained personnel.
Installation Instructions
- Read the ARB fitting instructions supplied with the bar completely before starting and fit protective eyewear and hearing protection.
- Remove the factory front bumper and the related trim and fixings so the chassis rails are accessible.
- Cut and drill the factory bumper at the marked locations shown in the instructions.
- Fit the chassis crush tubes and the chassis mount weld assemblies to the frame rails.
- Bolt the inner, outer and underpanel brackets to each chassis rail with the specified bolts, washers and flange nuts left loose for adjustment.
- Refit the modified factory bumper and any relocated components.
- Lift the bull bar onto the mounts and secure it with the class 11.9 flange bolts and nuts.
- Set the bar height and standoff using the chassis mount adjustment shims until the panel gaps are even.
- Connect the bar lighting to the vehicle harness as directed and check every lighting function.
- Torque all fasteners to the published figures for their size and property class, then recheck the torque after the first short drive.
