This ARP Harmonic Damper Bolt Kit locks the harmonic balancer in place on Ford 289, 302, 351W, 390, 427, 428, 429 and 460 cid V8 engines except 351C. Crankshaft flex and twist generate massive kinetic energy that the damper absorbs, and these high-strength bolts deliver secure clamping to prevent slippage during high-rpm operation.
