Installation Instructions

1. Work on a cool vehicle, disconnect the battery negative terminal and protect painted surfaces from brake fluid.
2. Note the routing and thread sizes of the existing brake lines before anything is disconnected.
3. Bench bleed the new master cylinder before installation so the bore is primed.
4. Remove the original master cylinder from the booster or firewall mounting studs and cap the open lines.
5. Decide between inverted flare and banjo fittings, then fit or remove the supplied brass seats to match.
6. Mount the proportioning valve to the underside of the master cylinder using the supplied hardware and seats.
7. Mount the master cylinder and valve assembly to the two bolt flange and check pushrod engagement.
8. Fit the pre bent hardlines between the master cylinder and the valve, then run the front pass through and rear outlet lines.
9. Fill both reservoirs with fresh fluid of the specification the vehicle requires and bleed the system in the factory sequence.
10. Set the proportioning valve to a conservative starting point, then adjust rear bias in small steps during controlled low speed testing.
11. Confirm a firm pedal with no weeping fittings, then recheck the fluid level and every fitting after the first drive.
