How long does it take to install the Baja Designs 448064 on a Ford Raptor?
With basic hand tools, most experienced installers complete the 448064 in two to three hours. The grille must be removed, the lower shutter slats on both sides are removed, brackets are mounted to the factory shutter mounting points, bars are positioned and aligned, and the harness is run to the up-fitter switch wiring behind the battery. The grille is reinstalled last.

Installation Instructions

Remove the factory grille by removing the two lower 10mm mounting bolts and the upper mounting fasteners and pulling outward to release the clips. Remove the lower four shutter slats on both sides using a flat screwdriver to pry the retaining clips. Mount the supplied Baja Designs brackets to the factory shutter mounting points using the included stainless hardware. Position and snug the OnX6 bars onto the universal brackets using the supplied bar mounts. Reinstall the grille and route the bar harness connectors through the opening. Connect the bar connectors to the splitter harness. Run the up-fitter harness from the splitter to the auxiliary switch wiring behind the battery, connecting positive to your chosen factory switch wire and negative to chassis ground using the supplied ring terminal. Do not use upfitter switch 4, the brown wire, or the purple wire as they are rated at only 10 amps. Test the lights before finalizing harness routing. Aim the bars toward the intended lighting zone and re-tighten all pivot hardware.
