Boost Tube Upgrade Kit
Red powder-coated (Driver, Cold Side only)
OEM replacement for left side boost tube (Driver/Cold side) with silicone couplers. 40% greater flow area compared to stock. Better flowing intercooler tubes results in less boost pressure loss allowing for more air and fuel to be delivered to your engine resulting in maximum horsepower. More density maintained from turbo to intake. These boost tubes are designed for serious horsepower.
This kit is designed to work with the Banks 3.5'' or 4.0'' Monster Ram and and stock intercooler (or aftermarket intercooler with stock inlet and outlet size and location).
Banks cold side Boost-Tube has 40 percent greater flow area than stock tubes. Produced from high-quality aluminized steel, our tubes are mandrel bent for constant diameter. This increases performance by allowing quicker turbo spool. Better flowing intercooler tubes improve retention of boost pressure (increases density) between turbo, intercooler, and intake resulting in maximum horsepower. Our powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tubes for better grip ensuring our 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty high-temperature silicone couplers hold tight under high-boost conditions. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps maintain grip to prevent leaks or blown boots. These boost tubes are designed for serious horsepower and are compatible with the stock elbow or new Banks Monster-Ram Gen 2 which will improve airflow, and allow the turbocharger to spool up even fast

Forced induction systems encompass every method of pushing air into an engine at greater than atmospheric pressure, including turbochargers driven by exhaust energy, superchargers driven mechanically by the crankshaft, and prochargers using centrifugal designs belt-driven at higher ratios than traditional roots-type blowers, with each approach delivering a significant increase in air mass per cylinder fill that allows proportionally more fuel to be burned and more power to be produced without increasing engine displacement. Adding 10 PSI of boost pressure to a naturally aspirated engine can increase power output by 50 to 70 percent depending on the engine's breathing efficiency and the quality of the supporting hardware, making forced induction the most power-dense modification available relative to cost and complexity. This collection covers complete forced induction systems, turbocharger and supercharger hardware, intercoolers, blow-off valves, wastegates, and supporting component...

Intercooler components let you build, upgrade, or repair your charge cooling system without replacing the entire intercooler assembly. Quality piping, silicone couplers, mounting brackets, and core upgrades make a meaningful difference in keeping intake temperatures low on high-boost builds and daily-driven turbocharged vehicles alike. Popular Upgrades Frequently ordered intercooler components include upgraded silicone coupler hose kits to replace cracked or blow-off-prone rubber hoses, intercooler core upgrades for higher bar-and-plate or tube-and-fin density, aluminum intercooler piping sets that replace restrictive OEM plastic pipes, and universal mounting brackets for custom intercooler positioning on fabricated builds. What causes intercooler components to fail? The most common intercooler component failure points are silicone or rubber couplers that crack or split under repeated heat cycling, plastic OEM piping that becomes brittle over time, and mounting brackets that fatigue...

Intercooler ducting channels ambient air directly into the face of the intercooler core, improving cooling efficiency without requiring a larger unit. On front-mount intercooler setups, proper ducting eliminates hot air recirculation in the engine bay and can dramatically reduce charge temperatures under sustained boost conditions. Popular Upgrades Top-selling ducting products include aluminum and fiberglass intercooler shrouds that direct airflow through the core face, heat-resistant ducting sleeves that protect charge pipes running near exhaust components, silicone duct hoses for custom intercooler routing, and foam or rubber sealing strips that close off air bypass gaps around the intercooler core. Why does intercooler ducting matter on a front-mount intercooler? A front-mount intercooler without proper ducting allows hot air from the engine bay to recirculate across the core face rather than exhausting through it, reducing the temperature differential and cooling efficiency. Eve...
