Installation Overview

Access: Remove the wheel and inner fender liner on each side. On the driver side, disconnecting the steering shaft improves clearance for manifold removal. Mark the steering shaft position before removal and re-torque to 37 ft-lb after reinstallation.

Heat shield: Remove carefully to avoid bending. The OEM heat shields are reused and remounted to the independent mounting locations on the new castings.

If only one of your original manifolds has failed, you can order an individual side. If you are doing both sides or want to replace everything as a matched set, this is the correct part.

Does this kit add horsepower?
BD does not publish dyno claims for this product and none should be expected. This is a durability and reliability upgrade, not a power-adding modification.
