Installation Instructions

1. Park the Jeep on a level surface, raise and support the vehicle on jack stands, and allow the exhaust to fully cool before working on it.
2. Unplug the upstream and downstream O2 sensors as required and unbolt them from the factory front pipe to keep them safe and reusable.
3. Remove the factory exhaust hanger rubber isolators from the front pipe hanger, then remove the spring bolts at the manifold flange and the band or U clamp at the rear pipe joint.
4. Drop the original front pipe out from the bottom of the vehicle, taking note of the orientation of the hanger and donut gasket.
5. Compare the new BRExhaust 107-0005 to the factory pipe for length, hanger location, and O2 port location, then transfer the O2 sensors to the new pipe with anti seize on the threads.
6. Lift the new front pipe into position, install the supplied donut gasket at the manifold flange, and start the supplied spring bolts by hand to allow alignment.
7. Slide the 2.5 inch outlet into the rear pipe, install the supplied U bolt clamp, then snug the welded hanger into the factory rubber isolator.
8. Torque the spring bolts evenly to factory spec, fully tighten the U bolt clamp, reconnect the O2 sensors, lower the vehicle, then start the engine and check the entire system for leaks at idle and at light throttle.
