Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise the vehicle and support on jack stands. Remove the front right wheel.
2. Locate the brake pad wear sensor wire running from the brake caliper to the chassis connector. Disconnect the sensor connector from the chassis wiring harness.
3. Remove the caliper mounting bolts and slide the caliper off the rotor. Support the caliper with a wire hook.
4. Remove the old brake pads from the caliper bracket. Note the position of the old wear sensor in the pad slot or retaining clip.
5. Pull the old sensor wire free from any retaining clips along the caliper or bracket.
6. Insert the new Brembo A00417 sensor into the designated slot on the inboard brake pad (typically a small cutout near the top of the pad backing plate).
7. Route the A00417 sensor wire back through the original retaining clips and along the caliper bracket to avoid contact with moving parts.
8. Plug the A00417 connector into the chassis wiring harness until it clicks securely.
9. Install fresh brake pads, reassemble the caliper, and reinstall the wheel.
10. Start the vehicle and verify the brake warning light extinguishes after a few seconds. If the light remains on, check the connector seating and sensor installation position.
